Steven Kothenbeutel, Senior Project Manager, brings experience in consulting and brokerage-related services to the commercial and residential real estate industries.  His consulting experience includes a wide range of financial and market analyses in addition to feasibility studies and valuations of various office, retail, industrial, and multi-family development and investment projects.

Prior to joining Avalon Development Company, Steve was the Market Analyst for Coldwell Banker Commercial Pacific Properties where he served as a leader in real estate research and marketing.  Steve managed and performed the marketing, valuation, and due diligence processes of multi-million dollar real estate investments in Hawaii. Additionally, on behalf of Coldwell Banker Commercial, Steve published quarterly office leasing market assessments for Honolulu, reporting on current and projected trends affecting the industry.

Steve’s consulting experience includes clients such as Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate, Hirano Brothers, Ltd., Bank of Hawaii, and Niu Pia Farms, Ltd., and Queen Liliuokalani Trust.

Steve is a candidate member of the Hawaii CCIM Chapter, the prestigious CFA ® Institute, and the Hawaii District Young Leaders Council for the Urban Land Institute.
