Phillip Keipper
Senior Property Manager
PHILLIP J. KEIPPER has been named Senior Property Manager
at Avalon Commercial LLC. He is responsible for the
management and oversight of the company’s commercial
property management accounts.
Mr. Keipper received his Bachelor of Science degree
in Microbiology from the The Ohio State University.
After working as a biochemical technician at the Battelle
Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio, he joined the
United States Naval Service where he served as a naval
officer in various management positions of increasing
responsibility aboard naval ships. He obtained his Master
of Science degree in Physics from the Naval Postgraduate
School in Monterey, California. Mr. Keipper transferred
to the Engineering Duty Officer community where he served
the last five years of his naval career at Pearl Harbor
maintenance organizations.
After his retirement from the U. S. Navy in 1995, Mr.
Keipper worked as a community association manager with
Chaney, Brooks & Company managing 1,500 units in
various multi-family, single family, and high-rise condominium
association buildings. Mr. Keipper obtained his State
of Hawaii real estate broker’s license in 1998.
He then transferred to the position of leasing agent
and general manager at Gabrielsen & Company for
the Waipahu Town Center and the Kaneohe Bay Shopping
Center. He oversaw the renovation of the Kaneohe Bay
Shopping Center over a three-year period and leased
spaces to quality national tenants.. Mr. Keipper represented
the seller as broker for the sale of both properties.
Mr. Keipper holds several professional designations.
These include the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and
Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), both from Institute
of Real Estate Management (IREM). He is a Certified
International Property Specialist (CIPS), which focuses
on qualifications for handling international clients
and is a certification through the National Association
of Realtors. Mr. Keipper also possesses the highly prestigious
professional designation Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM) from the CCIM Institute.
Mr. Keipper brings a wealth of technical knowledge and
experience that compliments the professional team at
